Advantages

This product prevents breakouts. It also has a pleasant smell to it and it helps draw out excess oil from skin. It is coarse enough to use as a scrub which is how it helps remove excess dirt and debris from your skin while performing an anti-inflammatory action.

It works well on moderate to severe acne problems. Another advantage of this product is that it is organic and oil free, and this is what makes it such a great exfoliate for oilier skin types.

Disadvantages

Although very helpful, it is not the neatest remedy. It makes your skin black but it does wash off with a little bit of effort. It could dry out the skin if a person has more sensitive or dry skin naturally, and some people might not like the smell of licorice.
